New dates announced: Limited places for Oliver McGowan Tier 2 training

New October and November dates are now available for the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism Tier 2.
This one-day, face-to-face course is for staff who provide care and support to autistic people and people with a learning disability. It will help you build the knowledge and practical skills needed to provide person-centred care and make reasonable adjustments.

What the day includes
The course is delivered by People First Forum and includes:
- A three-hour learning disability workshop
- Lunch, which is provided
- A three-hour autism workshop
- Practical guidance on reasonable adjustments
- Learning from trainers with lived experience of autism and learning disability
You will explore the experiences and strengths of autistic people and people with a learning disability. You will also learn how to identify barriers, reduce anxiety and adapt your care and support.
Before attending
You must complete Part One of the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training e-learning before attending Tier 2. See information on the booking links above.
