Dorset General Practice Nurses – Join our WhatsApp support group
One of the priorities identified through the Dorset GPN Community of Practice has been the need to reduce professional isolation and make it easier for General Practice Nurses to support one another.
To help achieve this, we are launching the Dorset GPN Community of Practice WhatsApp Group.
The group has been created as a supportive, friendly and non-judgemental space where GPNs from across Dorset can ask quick clinical or professional questions, share ideas, seek advice and learn from one another’s experiences. Whether you’re newly qualified, new to general practice or have many years of experience, everyone has something valuable to contribute.
General Practice Nursing can sometimes feel isolating, particularly when working in smaller teams. By connecting with colleagues across Dorset, we can build a stronger network, share our collective knowledge and ensure that no GPN feels unsupported.
Our profession has an incredible wealth of expertise, and by working together we can continue to develop, support one another and ultimately improve patient care.
If you would like to join the Dorset GPN Community of Practice WhatsApp Group, please email Melissa Ward via the PCTH email on the button below. Melissa will compile the list of participants and contact numbers before sending them to me so that the group can be created.
We hope as many Dorset GPNs as possible will get involved. Together we can strengthen our community, support one another and continue to showcase the value of General Practice Nursing across Dorset.
