Trainer
Beverley Bostock RGN, BSc, MSc, Nurse Practitioner & Clinical Lead, Education for Health, Warwick
Beverley has an enviable mix of theory and practice when it comes to her role as both health care professional and clinical lecturer. She is a Nurse Practitioner/Prescriber working in a rural practice in the Cotswolds and also works as a Clinical Lecturer at Education for Health, where she is the clinical lead for COPD, diabetes, atrial fibrillation, stroke, hypertension and. smoking cessation. She is a visiting lecturer on the MSc in preventive cardiology at Imperial College London.
Beverley writes extensively for the nursing press and sits on several editorial boards. She has a keen interest in the patients’ experience of health care and her dissertation for her MSc examined the concept of what patients themselves want from a consultation, comparing this to the way in which health care is currently delivered in general practice.
