Lesson Aim: To be able to effectively use and customise MS Teams, and utilise key features to improve communications, file management and appointments.
Prerequisites:
- A good level of IT competency, file management and keyboard skills
- Access to MS Teams and a PC or laptop with additional screens.
.Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the session the delegate will be able to:
- Navigate their Microsoft Teams account and personal settings
(Adjust profile, notifications, and device settings) - Use the Activity feed to keep track of updates and mentions.
- Send and manage messages in Chat
(Including one-to-one and group conversations) - Understand the purpose of Teams and Channels
(And know where to post information appropriately) - Take part in Conversations within channels
(Reply correctly, format messages, and keep threads organised) - Use the Calendar to schedule and join meetings
- Make and receive calls within Microsoft Teams
- Access, share, and collaborate on Files in Teams
- Understand basic file management
- Know where to find online Microsoft Teams training resources.
