First Contact Practitioner (FCP) Supervisor Course

Are you aspiring to or already in a supervisor role for a registered healthcare professional FCP colleague? Or are you required to set up and/or provide training in your organisation, for healthcare professionals working towards becoming First contact practitioners ?
If the answer is yes, and you have not had any previous formal supervision or mentor preparation training or if you feel you would benefit from a refresher of general principles and practice of FCP supervision, then this course is for you!
At Health Sciences University, we are offering a one-day online course for FCP clinical supervisors:
This course will cover basic aspects of supervision and learning theory and elements specific to First Contact Practice supervision in Primary Care. It should be undertaken by all FCP supervisors, and is required to supervise FCP in clinical practice if no prior experience in supervision.
