Dignity Champions Workshop

A study day designed to support Dignity Champions in the workplace. This day is suitable for all health and social care staff who have either previously been appointed as Dignity Champions or who are considering this as a new role
The aims of the workshop are to ensure the learner:
- Is able to define dignity and recognise its importance
- Appreciates key areas where ‘dignity’ can be at threat within the healthcare setting
- Has an awareness of how to promote dignity and address areas of concern
- Understands and has the tools to carry out the role of the Dignity Champion in the workplace including meeting the needs of the CQC and supporting new staff completing the Care Certificate
