Audit Workshop

Quality Patient care is an expectation of all; patients, carers, members of the public and staff within the healthcare profession as well as external monitoring bodies such as the CQC.
Audit is an effective tool which can be used to help achieve and demonstrate good quality care and shows active effort and commitment towards this aim.
The essential role of Audit is recognised by the CQC: Regulation 17 – Good governance. To meet this regulation; health care providers must have effective governance, including assurance and auditing systems or processes.
The three hour Audit Workshop explores the principles of audit including the audit cycle and participants will have the opportunity to undertake a practical audit exercise.
