Nathalie is a paediatrician who spent six months working in Liberia during the Ebola epidemic and has just completed her PhD investigating the genetic susceptibility to Ebola virus infection in Sierra Leone. She will be discussing how Ebola took hold of a community and the international response required to control the spread of the virus. Nathalie recently travelled to South Sudan to support teams working to control the Ebola outbreak in Democratic Republic of Congo and will up-date us on the situation there.
