The two day interactive workshop aims to deepen your skills as a trainer, improving your approach to planning, developing, delivering and evaluating courses.The workshop is for those who provide teaching/learning opportunities and have had little or no formal training in this area or require a refresher/update of their knowledge and skills.

Course Learning Outcomes:

Gain knowledge and understanding of principles of learning theories and styles.
Have the opportunity to practise, review and reflect on teaching experiences.
Plan and prepare a teaching session including a lesson plan, aims and objectives and appropriate evaluation processes.
Develop confidence and skills in a variety of approaches to teaching and learning.

Participants must be able to attend both days.

Venue: Hammick House, Poundbury, Dorchester

Dates: 1st and 15th November 2018, 9:15am – 4:00pm
