Partnership, Appraisal, revalidation and dealing with complaints workshop – For New to Practice GP’s

Hosted by: Dr Simon Phillips and Dr Tamsin Betts
Are you within your first two years of qualifying as a GP?
Starting your career as a GP is an exciting milestone, but it can also bring challenges, uncertainty, and moments of feeling overwhelmed. That’s why we’ve created a series of supportive, interactive workshops designed specifically for GPs in their first two years post-CCT.
This month’s session: Partnership, Appraisal, revalidation and dealing with complaints
This session looks into what the reality of a partnership might look like – giving an overview of what we might need to consider before taking one. We will also run through appraisal and revalidation as this can feel like a daunting task, but it doesn’t need to be!
Finally we will also look at dealing with complaints – firstly the actual process but also (and maybe more importantly) the potential emotional toll this might take on us and how we can support ourselves and find support during that time.
Despite the subject matter, we still intend to make this a fun, interactive session.
