Mental Health Education Session

Delivered by Dorset Consultant Psychiatrists, this education session is focused on increasing the knowledge and skills of primary care colleagues. It is an interactive workshop-based session providing the opportunity to discuss real life cases.
Topics covered include the following:
- Child and adolescent psychiatry
- Treating depression and anxiety and assessing suicide risk
- Patients presenting with medically unexplained symptoms
- Schizophrenia, drug induced psychosis and bipolar
Accredited with three hours’ professional development this education session is open to all Dorset localities and is aimed at General Practitioners.
Light refreshments will be provided.
