Haematological malignancies, which include leukaemias, lymphomas, and myelomas, are the fifth most common group of cancers in the UK.
Over 40,000 people are diagnosed with blood cancer each year in the UK, while more than 310,000 people are living with these conditions at any given time.

Speakers
Dr Marianna Koperdanova has been a Consultant Haematologist at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (HHFT) since 2018, treating patients with both benign and malignant blood conditions. Her professional interests include research and holistic approaches to patient care. Outside of work, she is a cycling coach and yoga enthusiast.
Dr Julie Smallwood is a General Practitioner in North Hampshire and also a GP Advisor at Wessex Cancer Alliance, working to support improvements in cancer services across the region.
This webinar is suitable for GPs, GP registrars, advanced clinical practitioners, nurse practitioners, practice nurses, physician associates, pharmacists and other members of the primary care multidisciplinary team.
