GIRFT webinar: Improving patient flow for acute coronary syndrome (ACS)

19 May 2023 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Professor Simon Ray, GIRFT clinical lead for cardiology, invites you and your colleagues to join him for a webinar to share the GIRFT good practice guide for managing cardiology patient flow. This online event will take place on Friday, 19 May 2023 at 13:00 via MS Teams.
This Good Practice Guide for Managing Cardiology Patient Flow – Acute Coronary Syndrome Pathway guide has been developed collaboratively by GIRFT and the Cardiac Transformation  Programme, based on a combination of evidence-based clinical guidance and effective practice identified through system visits.

We are delighted to be joined by Dr Ranjit More, consultant cardiologist at Blackpool Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, who will share his experience of implementing this pathway at his trust. We will also hear from Dr Farzin Fath-Ordoubadi, consultant cardiologist at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, who will present an example of providing dedicated ACS patient transport in Greater Manchester, reducing delays in accessing care.

Please share this invitation with clinicians, operation managers, cath lab coordinators and any colleagues that influence steps of the ACS pathway and would be interested in joining us.

This event will take place on MS Teams Live Events. Register at: GIRFT webinar: Improving patient flow for acute coronary syndrome (ACS) | NHS England Events

You will receive the joining link separately via email prior to the event.

If you are unable to make the webinar, a recording will be shared with all registrants and will be temporarily available on the GIRFT website.
