Discover the new community-based approach to leg care in Dorset – Neighbourhood Connections Webinar

October 30 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
Free

The Neighbourhood Connections webinar is your monthly update for all things Neighbourhood Health and Wellbeing in Dorset.

In this edition, we introduce the Crane Valley Legs Heal Together Leg Club for people in Dorset living with leg wounds, chronic oedema, and other lower-limb conditions.

The club supports a more community-focused approach to healthcare by helping people access appropriate lower-limb care in a familiar, friendly and supportive setting.

Find out how it aims to improve health outcomes, encourage early intervention, promote independence and self-management, and reduce loneliness through social connection and peer support.

If you’re a colleague in primary care, the wider NHS, councils or voluntary and community organisations, who wants to discover how this approach aligns with the aims of neighbourhood-based health and wellbeing services in Dorset by bringing care closer to home, encouraging partnership working, supporting prevention and helping people remain independent and connected within their communities, this is the webinar for you.

There will also be opportunities to hear the latest updates on Dorset’s Neighbourhood Health and Wellbeing Programme, as well as a forum to ask questions.

The hour-long webinar is taking place on 30 October 11am-12pm.

Sign up now on Eventbrite and please do invite any colleagues you think would be interested.
