Dignity Refresher
Target Audience: This day is for those who have attended the Weldmar Hospice Dignity workshop.

Course Aims: To give attendees an opportunity to reflect on the role of being a dignity champion and to update knowledge and skills to develop this role.

Learning Outcomes:

  • To be aware of any local or national initiatives regarding dignity
  • To gain additional resources for promoting dignity in the workplace
  • To undertake shared reflective practice on the role of the dignity champion

Indicative Course Content:

Practical skills: verbal & non-verbal communication, empathy, facilitation, active listening, reflection, paraphrasing, responding, summarising, behaviour which inhibits independence.

Teaching and Learning methods;

This informal workshop will involve discussion and group working.

Course fee: free to those who have attended the Weldmar Dignity Workshop
