Appropriate Admissions Course – East Dorset

12 September 2019 @ 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm

Free

This is an educational event for Nurse Practitioners and AHPs who work independently in a Primary Care setting and admit patients for acute hospital admission. It explores the concept of ‘ambulatory care’ and looks at alternatives to in-patient admission at the local trusts.

This course will focus on the following topics:
  • Learn about alternatives to acute hospital admissions and using ambulatory clinics
  • How to manage clinical risk in the community and use timely review as a tool
