Primary Care Education Session on Pain Management

Are you facing the challenge of managing patients who are living with significant pain – either whilst they face waits for referral and surgery, or because they have chronic pain?
The Primary Care Education Session on Pain Management will be delivered by clinicians working in the Dorset pain management service and will cover:

– The biopsychosocial approach and what the service offers

– General tips GPs can give to patients to manage their pain (non-medication)

– Medication options for persistent pain (current guidance)

– Input from ‘expert patients’ about their experience

Target Audience: GPs, ANPs and other clinicians working in primary care, managing patients who are living with pain.
