CQC | Developing our assessment framework: a system perspective engagement session
25 October 2021 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm
‘We launched our new strategy in May, where we outlined how we plan to change and transform to deliver more effective regulation. Further to this, the Health and Care Bill has indicated that we will have a wider oversight of health and care systems moving forward.
We want to develop how we’ll implement our strategy in partnership with people who work in health and social care. To support this, we’ve been running regular engagement sessions focused on different areas of our work.
We’re getting in touch with you to invite you to an upcoming engagement session which we hope will be of interest to you.
We need to make changes to our assessment frameworks to help ensure that any future regulatory model works at provider, local authority and system levels. This upcoming session is a chance to hear our thinking on a single assessment framework and share your thoughts from a system perspective. You feedback will help us as we move through further development.
The session
This engagement session will take place on Monday 25 October, from 3 – 4.30pm and will be held on Microsoft Teams.
Dr Rosie Benneyworth, Chief Inspector of Primary Medical Services and Integrated Care will lead this session. We’ll have breakout rooms for focused discussions and time for feedback.
The session will bring together representatives from integrated care systems and local authorities with providers and professionals who work in health and social care, and the organisations who represent them.
Registering your attendance
Please use the registration form on our Eventbrite page to confirm your attendance. Registrations will close on Wednesday 20 October. We will not be able to accept new registrations after this date. Places for this session are limited, therefore please only register for one place per organisation.’
