  • Attraction & Recruitment / Workforce Supply
    • New recruitment programme for GP Practice admin staff due to launch 17th January currently in development
    • Support with attraction campaigns and advertising vacancies
    • New Vocational Scholarship due to launch in the Spring which will provide an important additional recruitment pathway for entry level roles
    • Sourcing workforce to meet urgent and specific needs e.g. Phlebotomy
  • “Itchy Feet” and leaving general practice support
    • New service launching soon to provide opportunities for GPs who are considering leaving, retiring, reducing hours or making a change in their career to speak to a trained GP coaching colleague
  • Fellowships
    • GP & GPN New to Practice Fellowships – supports attraction and recruitment as well as providing valuable support for newly qualified staff transitioning into their new role
    • Flex Fellowships – offering opportunities to help colleagues develop and bring more diversity to the “day job” whilst supporting PCNs achieve their goals and objectives.  Open to all PCN colleagues at any stage of their career.
  • Communities of Practice and Peer support
    • Supporting the development of practice and providing a strong peer support and development network for:
      • Non-clinical Healthcare Professionals (SPLWs, H&WB Coaches, Care Coordinators)
      • First Contact Practitioners (FCPs)
      • Paramedics
      • Digital Care Coordinators
      • New to Practice Support
  • Placement & Learner support
    • Support for supervision, assessment and general enquiries for PCNs and Practices who are hosting learners and placements or have a member of staff on placement elsewhere during this period
    • Student placements & workforce pipeline – our Clinical Placement Expansion Team can support you with all aspects of supporting students in clinical placements and offer ongoing support for students and placement providers across Primary Care and Social Care
  • Coaching & Mentoring
    • Available to all Primary Care colleagues through the coaching faculty
  • Increasing digital capabilities
    • Adoption of digital and new ways of working is increasing at pace and having a really positive impact in many ways including the workforce and pressure from demand.
  • Health and wellbeing support
    • Bespoke support and signposting to a range of enhanced services
  • PCN/Practice level support
    • Working with PCN and Practice colleagues to identify workforce priorities and agreeing actions
