GP Admin Vocational Scholarship – Update
We are proud to provide an update on the recent delivery of a successful 3 week vocational scholarship course that showcases admin roles in general practice.
11 individuals from Job Centre attended and successfully completed the course last week and are now ready to apply for admin / reception roles in a GP practice. The scholars are ready now to submit applications to practices who have vacancies in the East of the County and I would politely urge any practices who receive an application from a GP admin scholar to offer them an interview should they meet your criteria.
The course provided individuals with insights into the world of primary care , training in key people skills, training, and support in Employability skills (ie CV writing / interview skills) and also delivered 4 introductory modules of SystmOne training.
Finally If there are any Practices who have any admin / reception vacancies that we may not be aware of please share the details with PCTH and these will be cascaded out to the group for their consideration.
