Wessex LMCs Recruitment Showcase Events – “helping to match opportunity and talent”
Are you a GP or a Nurse looking for the right practice / employer to meet your career aspirations, or know of a colleague that is? Every individual is unique and so is every practice, hence we are keen to get conversations started and help find the right match for you!!
We would like to invite you to our free recruitment showcase events held on behalf of practices by Wessex LMCs during May 2019. There are multiple job opportunities across the counties of Dorset, Hampshire and IoW, so why not come and . . .

– Discuss your flexibility and needs
– Learn about and discuss possible GP retainer positions
There will also be medical accountants, medical lawyers, LMC staff and the BMA on hand to answer any questions.
With the NHS Long Term Plan and the 19/20 national contract changes already a number of GPs and Practice Managers for the first time in many years feel much more positive about the future of General Practice.
By popular demand Wessex LMCs has held a recruitment showcase event for the last 3 years and it has received enthusiastic attendance from practices and attendees alike. This year, in line with the significant changes in the future of the Primary Care landscape, we are inviting GPs / GP trainees along with Practice Nurses – so please feel free to share this invite with any you know.
If you have a passion for General Practice but aren’t sure what your next career steps are then why not consider attending this innovative recruitment event whereby practices from across the counties of Dorset, Hampshire and the IOW are available within an informal setting for you.
In a relaxed environment you can mingle and chat with practices with a view to making further contact if there is reciprocal interest to pursue a working relationship.
Book your place below. Come when you are able after surgery; start time is flexible. The event is free of charge to attend and will be held from 6.30 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. on the following dates / locations (food/beverages will be provided throughout the evening). Please keep an open mind and you are very welcome to attend more than one of the events if you are flexible in your working location.

If you are a PRACTICE who would like to book a stand at the event to talk to healthcare professionals, please complete the document below, titled Recruitment-Showcase-Practice-Booking-Form, and return to office@wessexlmcs.org.uk We are more than happy for practices to attend more than one of the event locations but this will be on a first come first served basis.

All delegate fees are non-refundable. However, if it has been agreed that a refund is possible, it will be subject to an administration charge of £5 if the delegate fee is £100 or less, or £10 if the delegate fee is more than £100.
