QCF Level 2 Award in End of Life Care
17 May 2018 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
In conjunction with Bournemouth and Poole College and accredited by City and Guilds we offer this one day introduction to End of Life Care.
The Level 2 award covers:
Unit 201: Understanding how to work in end of life care
This award is suitable for anyone wanting to undertake vocational training in End of Life Care; therefore, the award is most suitable for staff working in care homes, domiciliary care agencies and Health and Social care assistant roles. However, all staff including Registered Nurses are able to enrol especially those new to EoLC
The unit is assessed through the completion of a workbook and all course materials and workbooks are provided.
The content of the workbook is covered entirely within the taught day. Time is given within the sessions for completion of the workbook and assessors review the learners work throughout the day so that no one goes away unsure whether they have completed the workbook at a suitable level.
Employers who provide data for the MNDS ( Minimum National Data Sets) for social care can access Workforce Development Funding to claim back a proportion of the costs of the training.
Staff who have completed the level 2 award may attend the level 3 award which takes place over three days
Cost: £100
