Peer Support Session for Partner/Salaried GPs
21 April 2021 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Has the Covid-19 pandemic limited your opportunities for peer support and small group learning?
The Primary Care Training Hub are offering a small group, GP peer support session online. This session will be facilitated and gives the opportunity to discuss challenging cases, share learning and the challenges GPs face at work in the current times.
What previous attendees have said:
“It is very reassuring to be in touch with colleagues. It can be very easy in the current climate of working remotely to become isolated. Speaking in real time to peers is of great benefit and helps to boost the self-confidence.”
“a good idea esp. in the absence of general f2f meetings of any sort where you might get ‘mentoring’ from a colleague over lunch etc.”
“…Thank you to all those behind peer support. Much needed (and probably underused) service out there for our GP colleagues during lockdown restrictions and social distancing. *We are social creatures!* Great idea to have small groups on the teams meeting calls and it’s good to know I’m not alone here and was able to vent and have honest, frank discussion in confidential ‘safe zone’ environment…”
“…It was also good to discuss any difficult cases and offload.”
Software: This is an online session that will be delivered on Microsoft Teams.
